Marty Meyers, President
Marty is a licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer and Pre-Need Agent. He began serving families in this area at our former location, Webb-Freer Funeral Home nearly 20 years ago. Marty and his wife Kim are members of St. John LaLande Parish. He is a member of Rotary and often plays TAPS for many veterans funerals and other events. They have two children, Chad and Kourtney. Marty and Kim are proud supporters of this community.
Todd DeMint, Vice President & Managing Partner
Todd is our managing partner and is in charge of the day-to-day operations of our Northland chapel. He is a licensed Funeral Director, Pre-Need Agent and National Board Certified Embalmer. He is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas. He also helps oversee operations at our Blue Springs chapel. Todd and his wife, Nikki (Wagener) have two children, Evan and Avery. The DeMint’s are members of St. Therese Parish in Parkville and are very active in the community. Todd is a member of the Parkville Rotary Club. Nikki teaches second grade at English Landing Elementary School in the Park Hill School District.
Dennis Meyers, Vice President
Dennis is a licensed Funeral Director and Pre-need Agent. Dennis is Marty’s younger brother and he also began serving families nearly 20 years ago at our former location, Webb-Freer Funeral Home. Dennis and his wife Julie are members of St. John LaLande Parish in Blue Springs. They have two children, Adrianna and Chase. Julie is employed by St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza. Dennis and Julie enjoy spending their free time with family and friends.
Loretta Bayless-Temple
Loretta is a licensed Funeral Director, Pre-Need Agent and National Board Certified Embalmer. She is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas and helps manage our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade have 3 children, Nigel, Ian and Richard. Loretta is a very genuine person and has definitely found her calling in life. She is a parishioner of St. Gabriel’s Parish and is very active in the community.
Tyler Stingley
Tyler is a licensed Funeral Director and Apprentice Embalmer. He is a 2010 graduate of Kansas City Kansas Community College Mortuary Science Program and is National Board certified. Tyler will be licensed in both Missouri and Kansas. He is a parishioner of Platte Woods United Methodist Church in Platte Woods, MO. Tyler is a native of Laurel, NE and has also found his calling in life. We are lucky to have him on our team.
Sylvia Downing
Sylvia (a.k.a. Grandma) assists in the office and works visitations and services. She has been a Kansas City North resident for many years and is Marty’s mother-in-law. Sylvia has been a great addition to our team. She enjoys helping the public and is very good at what she does.
Mike Hopkins
Mike assists with visitations, services and errands. He is a people person and enjoys visiting with the public. Mike and his wife Debbie are wonderful people and contribute to this community in many ways. Mike has been a great addition to our part-time staff.
Pat & Jerry Musil
Pat and Jerry have worked part-time for us for over two years now. They are members of St. Therese Parish in Parkville and volunteer numerous hours a month in various capacities. Pat & Jerry work visitations and services for us and have played a key role in helping us grow our business. They are truly great people to have on our team.
