Hilary A. Raby, 44, Overland Park, KS passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Kansas City Hospice House. She graduated high school from Shawnee Mission East and spent the majority of her working years as a veterinarian technician.  Hilary had a zest for life she loved animals, traveling ard collecting roosters. Some of the things she loved was gardening, yardwork, boating and waterskiing. She had knack for making old things look new again. She was very involved in her childrens lives although she had a constant struggle with her diabetes. Her three children were the love of her life and she lived every day for them. She was extremely proud of her sons, Sgt Mark Orr of the United States Marine Corps, Camp Pendelton California and Michael Boolin Razminas of Ellsworth Kansas and her beautiful daughter Genevieve Boolin, who is a senior at Shawnee Mission Northwest and was very close to her. She also cared for her elderly ailing father Gary Raby who adored Hilary and was the light of his life.She will be missed very much by her sister, Rebbeca of Kansas City who also shares in the familys love of animals and life. In recent years Hilary was plagued with chronic pain from the complications of her diabetes and struggled with it on a daily basis. Although she struggled with this pain there wasn’t a second that she wouldn’t be there for her family, her animals, or her friends. She loved life and will be missed very much by her children. “You’re no longer in pain momma, we love you so much, rest in peace.”

Family and friends will gather from 2-3:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Meyers Northland Chapel, 401 Main St. Parkville, MO 64152, where a memorial service celebrating Hliary’s life will commence at 3:00 p.m.  Memories of Hilary and condolences may be left with the family at www.meyersfuneralchapel.com.
