Irma Mazariegos, 76, of Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 28, 1936 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Irma was raised by her parents, Jose and Maria Luisa (Zelada) Mejia and educated in Guatemala. She became a citizen of the United States of America on February 21, 1995. More…
Luisa Toledo-Espinosa, 75, a resident in Kansas City, MO passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the North Kansas City Hospital. Luisa was born April 5, 1936 in Santa Clara, Cuba to Maria Luisa Espinosa and Rodolfo Toledo. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jorge Yero of New Jersey. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted with the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. There will be no formal service scheduled.

Pete Anastasios Tsakonas, 80, a Northland resident in Kansas City, MO (Parkville area) passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 25, 1931 in Zevgolatio, Corinth Greece to Anastasious and Sophia (Karakouse) Tsakonas. He attended schools in Greece and was a veteran of the Greek Air Force.
Pete moved to the United States in 1962 and became a U.S. citizen on June 30, 1967. He received his AMP license and worked as a lead aircraft mechanic for TWA in Kansas City, MO. He retired from there on November 1, 1993 following 26 years of service. More…
