Judy was born April 14, 1946 in Galena, KS to Leonard (Steve) and Marjorie (Strickland) Barker.  She was a 1964 graduate of Northeast High School.

Richard Dean Loock, 81, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit, MO.  Richard was born April 24, 1933 in Spencer, NE to Frank and Bernice (Marlatt) Loock. He served his country in the US Army.  On June 25, 1956 he was united in marriage to Barbara Cleary and she survives at the home.  Richard worked as a Tech Services Agronomist for Cargill Seeds, and was a member of St. John LaLande Catholic Church.     More…

Ethel L. Lord, 88, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Lee’s Summit, MO. Ethel was born April 23, 1926 in Bates County, MO to Clarence and Katherine (Fleischer) Bearce. On May 16, 1953 she was united in marriage to Vernon Lord who preceded her in death. Ethel retired from Sears, Co. after 20 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Blue Springs. She served as president of American Legion Post 499 Ladies Auxiliary, was a member of the Eastern Star, and served VFW 8 and 40. More…

Dorothy Jean Allmon, 86, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  She was born February 2, 1928 in Novelty, MO to Herschel and Reca (McQuary) Hardy.  On August 16, 1947 she was united in marriage to Glenn Allmon and he survives at the home.  She taught Art and Music at Pilot Knob and Iron Mountain, MO schools and later became a full time homemaker.  She was a member of St. John LaLande Catholic Church.
