Betty Jeane Blevins
Betty Jeane Blevins 86 of Humansville, Mo. passed away Wednesday February 15, 2012 at the Northwood Hills Care Center. Graveside Service will be 2:00 pm Friday February 17, 2012 at the Lees Summit Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Meyers Funeral Chapel 1600 W. Main St. Blue Springs, MO.
Betty was born June 10, 1925 in Kansas City, Mo. the daughter of Everett and Viola (Weir) Watson, Sr. She was Assembly of God by faith. She spent most of her career as a home health care giver. She was preceded in death by husband Charles Blevins, daughters Janie Hastings, Darlene Sue Roberts, Sarah Ridenour, Sharon Waite and son Everett Ridenour.
Survivors include her daughter Carol Cothern-Spidle of Clinton, Mo. Son Andrew Ridenour of Independence, Mo. Brother Everett Watson Jr. of Mountain Home, Ar. Twenty grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
I have fond memories of Aunt Betty. Her smile could light a room.
I may not have seen her for years but she has been in my thoughts.
She will be missed greatly.
