Larry E. Groves

Larry E. Groves, 62 of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away January 17, 2012 at his home.  He was born June 22, 1949 to Lawrence and Jeanne (Jons) Groves.  Larry worked for the KC Chiefs at the Arrowhead Club.  He was a Baptist by faith.  Larry loved working on the computer and was a big Chiefs fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother, Ray Marble, uncle and aunt, Paul and Edith Jons, and aunt, Frieda Jons.

He is survived by his sister, Laura Lee Hanson of Kansas City, MO; uncle and aunt, J.C. and Karlinn Jons of Counterview, MO; care taker, Dan Glaszczak of Blue Springs, MO; friend Bill Sheldon of Blue Springs, MO; and a host of nephew and nieces.

Graveside services for Larry will be 11:00am, Monday January 23, 2012 at Blue Springs Cemetery, Blue Springs, MO.  Visitation will be 10-11:00 am, Monday, January 23, 2012 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 West Main St., Blue Springs, MO, 816-229-3276.  Memories and condolences for the family may be left at www.meyersfuneralchapel.com.
