Her adventurous spirit enabled her to enjoy traveling with them as they completed a military career before finally retiring to Missouri in 1997. Among her interests were crocheting, Pinochle, and collecting antique eggcups from around the world.
In this life, Norine had many interests and pursuits, but the most important of all to her were her daughter and granddaughter. She also had many gifts; a quick wit yet a gentle spirit that endeared her to everyone who knew her. But her greatest gift was, and still is, her ability to love. She gave herself freely and endlessly without expectation to those she loved. She loved without judgment, without dominance, and without restraint. We who remain behind mourn our loss, yet we rejoice that Norine is now at home with the Father who loves her as she loved us. Our lives will be the emptier for her absence, but while she was with us she made our lives rich, full, and we knew we were loved.
