Marty grew up in Carrollton, Missouri. He graduated from Commonwealth College of Mortuary Science in Houston, TX in 1982. He and his wife, Kim reside in Blue Springs with their children, Kourtney and Chad. Kim currently works in Midwest Open Imaging in Independence. Kourtney, 20, will graduate from House of Heavilin in August 2008 and Chad, 17, will graduate from Blue Springs High School in May 2009. They also have 3 dogs, Billie, Buster, and Minnie.

Dennis Meyers & Julie

Funeral Director

Dennis grew up in Carrollton, Missouri. He received his Missouri Funeral Directors license in 1990. He and his wife, Julie live in Blue Springs with their children, Adrianna and Chase. Julie currently works at St. Lukes Downtown. Adrianna, 10, and Chase, 9, both attend Sunny Pointe Elementary.

Kathy Anselmi

Funeral Director and Embalmer

Kathy grew up in Arma, KS and graduated from KCKCC Mortuary School in 2003. She lives in Kansas City, KS and also works at KU Medical Center as an X-Ray Technologist. Kathy has two dogs, Odie and Kramer.

Alicia Burk & Aaron Dannull

Apprentice

Alicia grew up in Ida Grove, Iowa and graduated from KCKCC Mortuary School in December 2007. She and Aaron will be united in marriage on November 29, 2008 and will be living in Independence. Aaron is employed at Geiger Ready-Mix in Liberty, MO. Alicia has one dog, Gabby.

Gary Lakey

Pre-Arrangement Counselor

Gary grew up in Raytown, Missouri and currently lives in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Central Missouri State in 1972 with a BS in Mass Communications. He also owns and operates Key Marketing and Advertising in Kansas City since 1988. He has a cat, Beau.
